Violence scares me. These images on a grid-like, partial outline of the 2011 Syrian flag represent the human cost of this violence. The hand prints also represent life; the past and the future in our life-lines. This future includes profound courage as we all seek resolution and peace for her civilization and people, one of the most ancient on earth.
